We will lend you the rackets and the balls, and you may use the courts at no charge.
Guests from outside can also use these courts at a modest charge, but please note that you do need to book in advance.

Special tennis offer: €12,50 per hour including 1 drink at our bar (maximum 2 people)

Indoor pool

Everyone staying at the hotel may use the heated indoor pool free of charge.

Swimming lessons for children are given on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information, check the website of Swimming school Akwaak.

Guests who live in the vicinity of the hotel can also take out a subscription. Please enquire at the front desk.

Biking

A bike and a cycling map, that’s all you need to get to know the South Holland islands well. You can hire a bicycle from us; enquire at reception for various routes.
The routes are well marked, enabling you to get the maximum enjoyment from the island of Voorne Putten with its landscape and historic villages that are so typical of this province. With routes ranging from 5 to 40 km, there’s something for everyone!
And if you fancy a whole day out, order a delicious picnic basket from reception.

Kleiburg Golf Club of Brielle

Kleiburg Golf Club, Brielle, a perfect club for young and old, with a challenging course and excellent practice facilities. Only 10 minutes’ drive from Hotel de Beer. This splendid 18-hole course lies between the Brielle Lake and the Hartel Canal. An area of idyllic quietness under the smoke of Rotterdam.

Kleiburg’s uniqueness becomes apparent the moment you step onto the course. On the one hand you can see the scenic beauty of Brielle, on the other you have views of the impressive docks in the Europoort area. It’s hard to think of a greater contrast.

Kleiburg has excellent practice facilities in the form of a partly covered driving range and a putting and chipping green: ideal facilities for honing your technique. Beginners can work at their own pace to master their golfing skills. Near the practice course is a custom-fit shop, where clubs are made to measure and used clubs expertly repaired.

The atmospheric clubhouse is the centre of Kleiburg Golf Club and is an excellent place to while away the time before or after a round of golf. Besides the usual players’ facilities the clubhouse also accommodates an excellent restaurant and a well-equipped golf shop.
